How to Use the Three Different Kinds of Twitter Tweets

By admin On June 24, 2009 Under Latest Posts, Twitter Basic

This screencast movie discusses how to go about making use of the three different types of Twitter Tweet.

There’s the basic Twitter update, which is used to answer the basic question: “What are you doing?”. This update is posted for the world to see, on the main Twitter timeline. Then there’s the ‘@reply’, which again is posted to the main Twitter timeline, though is directed at a particular Twitter user. Lastly, there’s the direct message, withheld form the main Twitter timeline, and delivered to a fellow Twitter user’s Direct Message inbox – in much the same way as an email.

Feedback always welcome, and it’s always nice to connect on Twitter too.
